We are delighted to announce that Capel Dinorwig, our stunning 19th century chapel conversion in Dinorwig, North Wales, is open for business. We are absolutely amazed by the effort the whole team put into making this dream a reality, and our sincerest thanks to all who made it possible. Words alone are not enough to portray the beauty of the finished building, so here are a few images which hopefully do the talking. Click the images for a closer look.
This fantastic, 16-seater table has been made by our local joiner, Glyn, out of the chapel’s original pitch pine panels and pews!

The brilliant team working hard to achieve our Easter opening target.
So for our first blog post we thought we’d entice you with a Photoshop mock-up of the first floor living space. In the first photo you can see that the builders have been working hard to create the main structure of the living space. To the right is the freestanding feature wall which will break up the chapel’s spacious first floor into a dining area (to the right) and a lounge area (left). The newly sandblasted original beams have come up really nice, so we’ve protected them with the tarps while plaster boarding is under way.
We’re getting excited about this feature wall, because it will house a double-sided woodburning stove all the way from Holland, a 48inch television, as well as a log store!
The progress the team is making is amazing: already since this photo was taken, the plasterers have finished the end wall (with the three long windows) so the painters are in next week.
Stay tuned for more updates!
